Our Pietre Classiche are born from a deep passion for natural stone.
Every day we have the honor of sharing our work with clients and designers who embrace our philosophy, a hymn to the simplicity and timeless charm of natural materials applied to architecture.
Our commitment is based on a thousand-year-old tradition of slate processing, originating in the hinterland of Lavagna in Roman times.
Even today, the stone is split by hand by our master craftsmen, following ancient rituals.
In forty years of activity, Artesia has been able to merge this manual art with the most advanced technologies, calibrating and rectifying the stones to make them as easy to lay as simple tiles, but maintaining the unmistakable charm of real split quarry stone.
If the design requires it, Artesia offers refined finishes to give the surface a softer or glossier texture.

The stones are available in a wide range of formats, customizable according to the customer's wishes, as we firmly believe in the value of creativity and in the essential contribution of designers in our evolutionary path and in the development of our ideas.
To offer an even more complete service, some finishes include a special treatment with stain-resistant products and protective waxes.
The stones are delivered perfectly clean and packaged in elegant cardboard boxes of approximately 1 m².
We don't want to place limits on our customers, so the minimum order is 1 m².
